Getting the T... With Yes to Being Fit

Since it has been a little while since our last post, we thought it was time to catch people up with our going's on. Since the last post we have had a few new classes start, a change in venue and certificates handed out.

Start of June has bought about a new Chair and Village Yoga class in Arnesby, these are both on a Thursday, with Chair at 9:30am and Village Yoga at 18:30. They are local classes, intimate and being taught by Mollie, who is an Arnesby local.

We've also had to move Village Yoga to Moulton College on a Monday, this change in venue has allowed for Mollie to get in and set up for class earlier. This allows people to arrive earlier, chill on the mat or have a chat and a catch up. It was really important to us that we could facilitate this space for connection, as a large part of Village Yoga is community and feeling supported in a space with others.

On the topic of Village Yoga, we wanted to give a special shoutout to some students who have completed and received some certificates!

A big shout out to both Tina and Julie for completing over 25 hours of Village Yoga. Also a big mention to Camilla and Helen for 60 hours of yoga and Claire for 50 hours! We do have a couple more students who will be receiving certificates in the next few weeks. They should be proud of their dedication, showing up in rain and shine, when they were excited and when staying at home will have seemed a more inviting option! It's easy to go to yoga when motivation is high, harder when motivation has deceased! But the commitment to themselves is something to be proud of.

Whilst a certificate is a lovely physical reminder of all that's been achieved, we hope that they notice the hours, through the strength and confidence in their practise. Flows that were once hard, become easier and more and more poses become available, finally savasana becomes a little more welcoming and they feel the benefits of breathwork. Whilst a one off yoga practise can be a lovely pause, the continues practise is were the magic begins. Muscles and bones strengthen, mobility improves, your resilience and patience increases. Somewhere down the line you realise that yoga is bringing yourself back to you, how you always were and supposed to be.

For Chair Yogi's and Village Pilates, we are exploring certificates to! Due to not always using the booking system, we're coming up with another way of doing it. Watch this space, and please remember that your commitment is also noticed.

Finally, we do have some big plans underway for more things yoga. An online workshop around burn out and preventing it is next month. This is a very exciting collaboration with Madi, a qualified solution based hypnotherapist and Mollie can't wait to teach you some yoga skills to help prevent burn out and slow down. Please see ad below, and feel free to message for more details!!

We also have plans underway for an all day retreat, at a beautiful and idyllic location, after the Summer holidays. This will be a full day to reset and switch off in nature... What can you expect?.... Twice daily yoga, soundbath, connection, optional walks, sauna and rest. Watch this space for the event to be released soon!

Hope you have a beautiful rest of the week and a splendid weekend, with friends, family or loved ones.
